Annual Report

Each year the Council produces an annual report to review its performance and achievements for the past financial year. The document is designed to provide an insight into the Council's operations and financial position, and indicate how the Council has performed in achieving the activities it set itself during the year.

Broadly the Annual Report includes information on:

The achievements and challenges faced by the Council during the financial year;
Information about council operations;
An outline of council services;
Performance against the objectives set out in the Council's corporate plan;
The financial statements for the financial year;
A report as to the state of the environment for the area; and
Other information required by the Local Government Act 1993.
